It is with sincere regret that we announce the passing of Honorary Trustee E. Gabriel Perle on Friday, August 8th. Gabe was the Society’s President from 1976-1978. He played a pivotal role in the growth of this organization. We are saddened by his loss.

“PERLE -- E. Gabriel. The Officers, Executive Committee and Members of The Copyright Society of the USA mourn the loss of Honorary Trustee E. Gabriel Perle, the prominent copyright attorney who was President of The Society from 1976 to 1978. The Society remembers Gabe fondly for his substantial contributions to the growth of The Society beyond its New York origins. We extend our sincerest sympathy to his family and many friends.”
