We are saddened by the loss of Dorothy M. Schrader, who twice served as General Counsel of the U.S. Copyright Office. She joined the Copyright Office as Examiner in 1963, was General Counsel in 1974-1976 and 1979-1995, and remained with the Library of Congress until 2000. Ms. Schrader passed passed away on August 5th.
