Did you miss the2015 Nova Law Review symposium "New Media and Old Metaphors" in February? If so, it's not too late. Videos of the presentations, including those by our members, are available online, as are materials.

The symposium explored the responses of business and industry to the transformative effect of new media on traditional entertainment and media.

Member Amanda Schreyer, Of Counsel at Prince Lobel Tye LLP, presented “Understanding Copyright Transfer Terminations."

Member Mickey Osterreicher, General Counsel at the National Press Photographers Association, spoke about "Transformative Use: From Campbell v. Acuff Rose to Cariou v. Prince."

Member Chrissie Scelsi of Scelsi Entertainment and New Media Law, P.L., presented "Care and Feeding of Privacy Policies and Keeping the Big Data Monster At Bay: Legal Concerns in the Age of the Internet of Things."
