Two Copyright Society Members recently joined the staff of Public Knowledge.
Raza Panjwani has been named Policy Counsel at Public Knowledge. He will be specializing in copyright, telecommunications, and other areas of law that regulate modern technology and the Internet. Previously, Raza had his own law practice in New York, representing clients ranging from artists to technology start-ups. Raza received his B.A. and J.D. from Columbia University and was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar in law school. Welcome to the CSUSA DC Chapter, Raza!
Courtney Duffyhas joined Public Knowledge as a Robert W. Deutsch Arts & Technology Policy Fellow. Courtney is responsible for informing and engaging the artistic community in federal policy discussions at the junction of communications, technology and the arts. Courtney comes to Public Knowledge from San Francisco following two years in technology communications. She also took part in the Massachusetts Senate race of 2012, where she worked as a Regional Field Director for Senator Scott Brown. A New England native, Courtney graduated from Trinity College in 2012 where she studied Political Science, English, and the Interdisciplinary Arts.
