Joe Salvo, Past President of the Copyright Society of the USA, will give a talk on "Recent Developments in Copyright Law" on July 15 as part of a day-long conference of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association. The conference, "Hot Topics in Intellectual Property Law," will provide 3.5 NY/NJ CLE credits, including .5 Ethics credits.
Joe is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Sesame Workshop. Previously, he served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of Mattel, Inc. and General Counsel of HIT Entertainment. He served as President of the Copyright Society from 2012-2014 and is now an Honorary Trustee. He has held numerous other positions with the Society, including New York Chapter Co-Chair and Sponsorship Committee Co-Chair.
