Members Joseph Gratz and Pamela Samuelson will speaks on a Wikimedia Foundation panel, "Copyright in the Age of Mass Digitization," on July 28. The discussion will cover the legal challenges of mass digitization and possible solutions.
Yana Welinder of Wikimedia Foundation, Lila Bailey of the Law Office of Lila Bailey, and Melvin Gibbs of Content Creators Coalition will also participate on the panel.
Joe is partner at Durie Tangri LLPand teaches cyberlaw at the University of California – Hastings College of the Law. He is Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association IP Section’s Committee on Copyright and New Technologies.
Pamela is the Richard M. Sherman Distinguished Professor of Law and Information at the University of California, Berkeley. She also serves as Co-Director of the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology.
