Member Sandra Aistars has joined the George Mason University School of Law as Clinical Professor. She will also be directing the Center for the Protection of Intellectual Property's Arts & Entertainment Advocacy Program at the University and will serve as its Senior Scholar and Director of Copyright Research & Policy.
Prior to joining the University, Sandra was the Copyright Alliance's Chief Executive Officer. She has also served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Time Warner Inc.
The Arts & Entertainment Advocacy Program, set to launch in January 2016, "will teach students the legal and policy skills required for engaging with Congress, agencies, and courts on behalf of copyright owners," according to the Center's website.
Sandra co-chairs our 2016 Mid-Winter Meeting Committee and has served as a panelist or lecturer at multiple Copyright Society programs.
