A report on the Midwest Chapter's May 20th panel on "A Clear View of 'Blurred Lines'" has been included in Detroit Legal News. The panel was held at University of Detroit Mercy College of Law in conjunction with the Arts, Communications, Entertainment, & Sports Section of the State Bar of Michigan.

Tom Leavens of Strand, & Glover LLC and CSUSA Secretary Judith Finell of Finell Music Services, who was the Gaye Estate's testifying musicologist in the case, reviewed the decision and discussed its potential impact on music and copyright.

The event was organized by Member Rick Herman with Midwest Chapter Co-Chairs Seth Appel and Rochelle Claerbaut.
