Margaret Wheeler-Frothingham has been named the Copyright Society of the USA Volunteer of the Year. The Volunteer of the Year Award is presented annually to a member who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to the Copyright Society.
Margaret is an Associate at Arent Fox LLP. Prior to her current position, she held positions at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP and Lazare Potter & Giacovas LLP. Margaret is a 2013 graduate of Fordham University School of Law, where she was a Paul Fuller Scholar and served as Symposium Editor for the Fordham Journal of Corporate & Financial Law.
Margaret started volunteering for the Copyright Society while a law student. She donated many hours of her time helping in the office and at events, live-Tweeting our Annual Meetings, and leading research projects. She has co-chaired the Social Media Committee since 2014.
