10/6-7: CSUSA Members to speak at CPIP's Fourth Annual Fall Conference

Members Sandra Aistars, Matthew Barblan, Terry Hart, Adam Mossoff, Chris Newman, Stanley Pierre-Louis, Mark Schultz, and Eric Schwartz will be speaking at the Center for the Protection of Intellectual Property's Fourth Annual Fall Conference "Intellectual Property & Global Prosperity" on October 6-7, 2016 at the George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School in Arlington, VA.
Sandra, who is the Director of Copyright Research and Policy at CPIP, and Mark, Founder of CPIP, will be speaking on a panel about how IP helps individuals. Mark will also be speaking on a panel about IP and Development. Matthew, who is the Executive Director of CPIP, will be speaking on a panel about Creative Upstarts and Startups. Terry, who is VP of Legal Policy and Copyright Counsel at the Copyright Alliance, Adam, who is a Founder of CPIP, and Eric, who is a Partner at Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp LLP as well as a Past President of CSUSA, will be speaking on a panel about IP and the Historical Record. Adam will also be speaking on a panel about assessing the economic case for patents. Chris, who is a Professor at the Antonin Scalia Law School, and Stanley, who is General Counsel at the Entertainment Software Association, will be speaking on a panel about assessing the economic case for copyright.
