Gala celebrating the role of copyright and the Copyright Society’s 60th anniversary and honoring Stephen Schwartz (composer of “Wicked,” “Pippin” and “Godspell,” among other works) with this year's “Excellence in Creativity Award.” The evening will also include remarks by Maria Pallante, the Register of Copyrights, and other special guests.

Tickets for the Gala are sold separately from the registration fee for our 2014 Annual Meeting.


An extraordinary event held the night before the 2014 Annual Meeting of The Copyright Society at the Great Hall of the Jefferson Building at the Library of Congress, with a panoramic view of the Capitol, the Mall, the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. Parts of the Library’s private collection will be opened for the evening.

The event promises to be a truly extraordinary evening with friends, colleagues and members of the Washington, D.C. community in a memorable setting. Help us celebrate the evening and make it a success.
