Kyle Courtney Named Harvard University's First-Ever Copyright Advisor

Kyle K. Courtney has joined Harvard University as its first Copyright Advisor. In this role, he will support copyright advisory services throughout all 73 Harvard Libraries and continue to work with the Office of General Counsel on intellectual property issues associated with the newly created Harvard classes. 

Kyle was previously the manager of the Faculty Research and Scholarship Department at Harvard Law School.

Kyle also recently published a new chapter and an article. His latest chapter on "Copyright in the Digital Age"  is included in Law and Librarianship in the Digital Age by Rowman & Littlefield.  His article on massive open online courses (MOOCs), copyright, and open access, "The MOOC Syllabus Blues: Strategies for MOOCs and Syllabus Materials," appears in the November 2013 issue of College and Research Libraries (vol. 74).
