LA Chapter 11/13/15 Materials

Join us for our Los Angeles Chapter's first event of the season! Our speaker for the afternoon will be Eleanor M. Lackman, who will discuss her landmark win in the 16 Casa Duse v. Merkin case and what that ruling and the Garcia v. Google ruling mean for negotiations and ownership disputes in the entertainment and media industries.

Eleanor is a partner in the litigation, trademark and copyright practices at the New York office of Cowan, DeBaets, Abrahams & Sheppard LLP.  Described by Chambers USA as "a copyright and trademark expert," Eleanor focuses her practice on issues affecting clients in the media, entertainment, fashion and consumer products industries, including IP and media defense, brand counseling and enforcement, and advising on issues at the intersection of copyright and trademark and new technologies.
